NSR Audi R18 TDI #1 Sebring Test NSR1095
In stock
Audi's dominance at the 24 Hours of Le Mans and its attendant series has been reduced through rules and new competition since its initial foray into diesel power, but it still cuts a dramatic figure in any endurance race it enters, including a surprise win at this year's race after the failure of both Peugeots. The new Audi R18 prototype racer does so even more radically, with the addition of a hardtop enclosure to the cockpit. Previous Audi prototype racers, from the R8 to the most recent R15 TDI, have been open-cockpit affairs. But Audi is aiming for its tenth 24 Hours of Le Mans victory with a new direction, due in part to a significant reduction in engine displacement mandated for the race in 2011. The more aerodynamic closed-cockpit car will make better use of the 3.7-liter V-6 TDI engine now fitted to the chassis. Also new to the R18 racer is a six-speed transmission modified for use with the smaller engine. A single-piece carbon fiber monocoque saves weight and improves stiffness, while new all-LED headlights are a first for an Audi race car. In daylight running mode, the headlights project a "1" to intimidate competitors and signify Audi's past victories. The first track test of the new R18 was completed last month, with Allan McNish at the wheel. Its racing debut will come at the Spa-Francorchamps 6 Hours on May 8, 2011.Step into the thrilling world of endurance racing with the NSR Audi R18 TDI #1 Sebring Test, a masterpiece in 1:32 scale. This slot car captures the essence of high-speed performance with its meticulously crafted design and top-tier engineering. Whether you're racing on a Scalextric, Ninco, or Carrera Evolution track, this car promises an exhilarating experience. Pinkkar Ferrari 250 GTO CV057

Pinkkar's Ferrari 250 GTO CV057 is finished in red with yellow Ferrari shields on the front wings. The long bonnet, open vents and wire-style wheels capture the character of the classic GT shape. This new 1:32 analog slot car is presented on its Pink-Kar base beneath a clear display cover. Pink-Kar is an iconic Spanish slotcar brand founded in 1995 by two passionate collectors. The brand is known in the racing world for producing nostalgic miniature cars (scale 1:32) that are specifically aimed at the enthusiasts of classic cars and historical motorsport myths. The main details about the Pink-Kar brand and their specific Ferrari 250 GTO models are divided as follows: The Philosophy of Pink-Kar Nostalgic look: The founders wanted to make slotcars with a traditional, vintage look, inspired by the classic Spanish Exin models from the 60's and 70's. Production in Spain: Unlike many brands that moved production to Asia, Pink-Kar chose to keep the craft assembly process entirely in Spain. In addition to the Ferrari 250 GTO, they produced unique historical models such as the legendary Auto Union C-Type, the Bugatti Type 59 and classic Volkswagen Beetles. The Pink-Kar Ferrari 250 GTO Pink-Kar released several versions of the Ferrari 250 GTO 1963. These are the main technical and historical features of this particular model car: The Body (Bodywork): The mould for the plastic case was of excellent quality. This was reportedly based on the high-quality Revell 1/24 scale models from the 60's. The Engine: The cars came with the Power-Plus 1 engine. This is a relatively "quiet", less powerful engine that is comparable in performance to a Ninco NC-1 engine. It delivers an authentic, vintage driving experience without extreme speeds. Well-known Performances: Although the brand is called 'Pink-Kar', they released the GTOs in legendary, historic racing colours. Well-known versions are the white variant (Ref: CV040), the yellow "Spa 1965" (Ref: CV010), the Tour de France 1963 edition (#172) and the rare silver/grey Sebring 12h version. About the true scale car Rory Bryne designed an all-new car as the technical regulations for 1998 called for 20 cm narrower front and rear tracks and the use of grooved tyres instead of slicks What made this car special was its novel aerodynamic design approach which, in the years to come, would ensure Ferrari’s superiority over its rivals. The engine was new too – the Tipo 047 characterised by an 80°angle between the cylinder banks and numerous internal and external modifications. The suspension design was also modified with the front shock absorbers mounted vertically once again, while torsion bar springing and push-rods were retained all round. 1998 saw Michael Schumacher and Ferrari in line for the World title once again. This time they faced a new adversary. Williams-Renault had been replaced in the rankings by the Mercedes-powered McLaren. Schumacher battled it out with Finn Mika Hakkinen in the last race of the season at Suzuka, but a mistake at the start and a puncture in the middle of a splendid chase saw Michael lose out on the chance of taking the Drivers’ title back to Maranello. However, the other six victories (Argentina, Canada, France, Great Britain, Hungary and Italy) and the 133 points remained a record for the Maranello marque. CODE=BBTCH0825

Proslot Porsche 911 GT2 #21 Pioneer Customised *USED*
In stock
This one-off Policar/Proslot Porsche 911 GT2 #21 has been modified and remains close to new in appearance. It is a used 1:32 analog car with working front and rear lights. The red Pioneer livery includes blue rear-wing panels and period-style sponsor markings. Its original box is included. The real car behind this slotcar model is the legendary Porsche 911 GT2 (993 generation) from the mid-90s. However, the specific red/blue/white #21 Pioneer-livery on the ProSlot slot car is a fictional design. ProSlot (and later brands like RevoSlot) more often released "fantasy liveries" at the time with well-known sponsors to expand their offerings without being stuck with historic racing entries. This is the story behind the real car and the brutal class in which he was riding: The Real Car: Porsche 911 GT2 (Type 993) The real 993 GT2 was built by Porsche in 1994 to meet the homologation requirements for the international GT2 class of the FIA. It was the most extreme, track-oriented version of the 911 at the time. The Engine: A 3.6-liter air-cooled biturbo 'flat-six' boxer engine. The street version delivered about 430 to 450 hp, but the thoroughbred racing versions (such as the GT2 Evo) were increased to 600 hp. Drive: Unlike the regular 911 Turbo (which had all-wheel drive), the GT2 sent all power purely to the rear wheels to save weight and comply with the racing regulations. Appearance: The car was immediately recognizable by its extremely wide, bolted (bolt-on) wheel arches and the giant rear wing with air-happers on the sides to cool the turbos. Reputation: Due to its enormous power, light weight and lack of electronic tools, the street version of this car was quickly nicknamed "The Widowmaker" (The Widowmaker). Well-Known Real Liveries Although Pioneer was a huge sponsor in the motorsport of the 90's (best known for the factory Peugeots in the Paris-Dakar rally), the real 993 GT2 drove mainly in other iconic liveries during the 24 Hours of Le Mans and the BPR Global GT Series: Eleven / Haberthur Racing (Black with yellow and green accents) Repol / Blue Coral Roock Racing (Often white with bright green or purple elements) Harlekin (The famous multicolored paint of the VIP cars)
Proslot Porsche 911 GT2 #68 TBF White PS1007

White TBF graphics make the #68 Porsche 911 GT2 immediately recognisable. Proslot pairs the illustrated livery with gold-centred wheels and a high rear wing. The new 1:32 slot car sits in its clear Porsche 911 GT2 presentation case. Its Proslot reference is PS1007. The Porsche 911 GT2 is a real and legendary car. The Proslot racetrack car is a miniature version of the Porsche 911 GT2 (type 993), which Porsche introduced in 1994. The real car was originally built as a homologation model to participate in the international FIA GT2 racing class. Features of the real 993 GT2: Power: A 3.6-liter twin-turbo six-cylinder boxer engine with a minimum of 430 hp. Drive: Purely on the rear wheels (as opposed to the four-wheel-drive 911 Turbo from that time). Nickname: Due to the extreme power, the lack of electronic tools and the fierce rear-wheel drive, the GT2 series was later given the infamous nickname "The Widowmaker." Appearance: Directly recognizable by the extremely wide, screwed-up wheel arches and the giant rear wing with extra air intakes. Rarity: Of the original air-cooled 993 GT2 street version, only 57 copies were built at the time, making it a multimillion-dollar object for collectors today. The real-world car depicted by this Proslot model most famously raced at the Circuit de la Sarthe during the 24 Hours of Le Mans in 1998.The Real Story Behind the CarThe #68 slot car represents a very specific entry from the 1998 24 Hours of Le Mans. It was entered by the Swiss racing team Elf Haberthur Racing and sponsored by Tuiles TBF (a French roofing tile manufacturer). The Famous Circuit: Circuit de la Sarthe (Le Mans, France). The Drivers: The car was driven by Eric Graham, Jean-Luc Maury-Laribière, and the famous French auctioneer Hervé Poulain. The Result: They finished in 20th place overall. Why the Proslot Car is "Plain White"In real life, this car is a legendary "Art Car". Hervé Poulain commissioned the famous French cartoonist Georges Wolinski to design the livery. Wolinski drew a giant, humorous cartoon of a naked woman stretching across the hood and sides of the car (often referred to by collectors as the "Naked Lady" Porsche).Because Proslot sold this model under reference PS1007 as a plain white version with just the #68 and TBF logos, it represents the car either as it appeared during early test sessions before the artwork was applied, or it was sold as a "white kit" base intended for hobbyists to apply their own aftermarket Wolinski decals.Other Potential Circuits Because Elf Haberthur Racing campaigned their Porsche 911 GT2 cars heavily in the late 1990s, cars in this exact TBF-sponsored stable also raced on European tracks in the BPR Global GT Series and the FIA GT Championship, including:Circuit de Spa-Francorchamps (Belgium)Silverstone Circuit (UK)Autodromo Nazionale Monza (Italy)Circuit Paul Ricard
Proslot Porsche 911 GT3 #22 Heidsieck Supercup
In stock
The yellow #22 Porsche 911 GT3 gives this Proslot release a bright Supercup identity. Mobil and Pirelli markings run across the detailed racing bodywork, with a driver figure visible inside. This new 1:32 analog slot car is presented on its Challenge Cup display base. The large rear wing and silver multi-spoke wheels complete the competition look. The real car behind this scale model is the Porsche 911 (996) GT3 Cup from the Porsche Supercup of the 2000 / 2001 season. This car was in the official support program of Formula 1. The car with start number #22 drove in the recognizable yellow-black livery of "Heidsieck Monopole" (a well-known champagne brand). Specifications of the real car (Type 996 GT3 Cup) Engine: 3.6-litre liquid-cooled 6-cylinder boxer engine (the legendary 'Mezger' engine). Power: Approximately 370 hp (276 kW) at 7,000 rpm. Torque: 370 Nm at 6,250 rpm. Weight: Only 1,140 kg (fully stripped for the circuit). Drive: Rear-wheel drive with a 6-speed manual transmission. Aerodynamics: The 2001 version was given a redesigned, larger rear wing that more than doubled the downward pressure (downforce) on the rear axle compared to the year before. What made this class so special? The Porsche Supercup is a so-called 'one-make cup'. This means that all drivers drive the exact same cars. Mechanical adjustments were prohibited, so it arrived purely on the driver's talent and the fine tuning of the suspension.

The Porsche 911 (996) GT3 RS #83 by Seikel Motorsport achieved victory in the GT class and finished 6th overall during the 24 Hours of Le Mans in 2001. Although the car in model series is sometimes confused with the Supercup variants, this concerns the official 996 GT3 RS customer racing car, built especially for endurance races. Racer Ferrari 333 SP #5 Giesse Le Mans 1998
In stock
A used kit, the body has been painted red and only needs decals and clear coat. A new extra SCX body is included. The Ferrari 333 SP #5 of the JB Giesse Team (chassis #022) is an iconic open sports prototype race car that participated in the 24 Hours of Le Mans in 1998. The car fell into the top class (LMP1) and stood out enormously for a unique aerodynamic adjustment and the distinctive red-and-white color scheme. The Unique 'Long Tail' The #5 Giesse car was the only Ferrari 333 SP with a long tail (extended rear). This particular aerodynamic design was an idea of former F1 driver and team principal Jean-Pierre Jabouille. The goal was to reduce air resistance and maximize the top speed on the legendary, straight stretch of Les Hunaudières. Racing Statistics & Result (Le Mans 1998) Team: JB Giesse Racing (managed by Jean-Pierre Jabouille) Drivers: Vincenzo Sospiri (IT), Jean-Christophe Boullion (FR) and Jérôme Policand (FR) Qualification: The car qualified 17th overall (and was therefore the fastest of all Ferrari prototypes during that qualification). Performance: Although the car was extremely fast and made a deep impression with meter-long flashes when switching back, fate struck. Result: DNF (Did Not Finish) because of a broken gearbox that took the car off deep into the night. Engine and Engineering Under the skin, the 333 SP was equipped with a breathtaking 4.0-liter V12 engine. This engine was directly derived from the Formula 1 engine from the Ferrari 641 (1990). The engine delivered about 640 to 650 hp and produced the legendary, terrifyingly high F1 whining sound. Champion car Although the Le Mans adventure ended in minor, exactly this chassis (#022) had a huge success in Europe that same year. Sospiri and Emmanuel Collard dominated the International Sports Racing Series (ISRS) and convincingly took the 1998 Teams and Drivers title with this car. Today, this unique 'long tail' Ferrari is a beloved collectible and a popular choice for detailed slotcars (such as from RevoSlot and MR Slotcar) and scale models
