A one-off conversion makes this used Scalextric Lamborghini Veneno a distinctive custom slot car. Its angular silver-grey body sits on a Scalextric Murcielago chassis with black wheels and a large rear wing. The model has been used and is supplied without its original box. Every finish and construction detail is specific to this individual build. The real Lamborghini Veneno is one of the most extreme, rare and expensive hypercars ever built. The car was unveiled in 2013 at the Geneva Motor Show to celebrate the 50th anniversary of Lamborghini. It's basically a street-legal racing prototype. These are the key facts about the real model: 📊 Production & Exclusivity The car is extremely limited produced: Coupé: Only 4 pieces have been built. One prototype (Carozzeria Zero) is in the Lamborghini museum. The remaining 3 were sold to customers. These three each wear an accent color of the Italian flag (green, white or red). Roadster (Cabrio): 9 pieces of the homeless variant have been built. 💰 The Price (Then and Now) New price: At the introduction, the Veneno cost about 4 million dollars (excluding taxes). Current value: Because they are so rare, they are now sold at auctions and the exclusive market for amounts between 6 million and sometimes up to 16 million dollars. 🏎️ Technical Specifications Under the futuristic bodywork, the Veneno shares its base (the carbon monocoque chassis) with the Aventador, but everything is tuned to the extreme: Engine: An atmospheric 6.5-litre V12. Power: 750 hp. Top speed: 355 km/h. 0 to 100 km/h: In just 2.8 seconds. Weight: Completely made up of carbon fibre (carbon), which weighs only 1,450 kg. 🛩️ The Design The design is heavily inspired by aviation (jet jets) and aerodynamics. Each panel, the giant rear wing and the 'shark fin' on the hood are designed to generate maximum downward pressure (downforce) so the car can hunt extremely fast through curves. The name Veneno is (as the tradition of the brand prescribes) named after a legendary, lightning-fast and aggressive Spanish fighting bull from 1914. Veneno is the Spanish word for poison
