Current market availability and pricing
Because the model has been out of production for decades, it has become a sought-after collector's object. The prices vary greatly based on the state (new in box vs. used) and the completeness of the packaging

The real Porsche 356A Speedster (built between 1955 and 1959) is one of the most iconic, puristic sports cars in Porsche's history.
The car was developed specifically at the request of the influential American importer Max Hoffman. He wanted a stripped-down, lighter and cheaper variant of the standard 356 to compete on the track and the road with the British roadsters.

Technical Specifications (Standard 1600 A)

Engine: Air-cooled 1.6-litre (1582 cc) 4-cylinder boxer (flat-four)
Power: 60 hp to 75 hp (for the 'Super' version)
Top speed: Approx. 160 km/h
Transmission: Manual 4-speed transmission
Weight: Only 760 kg (extreme light thanks to the minimalist design)

Why the Speedster was so unique

Spartan interior: No luxury. The car had lightweight bucket seats, a simple dashboard and hardly any soundproofing.
Low windscreen: The recognizable, low, rounded windscreen could possibly be completely removed for amateur races on weekends.
The Race graphics (#356): Because the car was so light and agile, it was used by many owners directly at club racing and hill climbs at the time. The starting number '356' on the scale model of Ninco is a direct nod to the type name of the car itself.

Today, an original, real Porsche 356A Speedster has become a rare collector's object. Copies in top condition are sold at auctions for amounts between € 250,000 and € 450,000,-
