Angular DeKon bodywork and a white-and-green livery define this Chevrolet Monza #24. The new Carrera Evolution model represents the 1977 IMSA entry, with Shell and Goodyear branding visible in the photos. It is presented in its clear Carrera display case with the large rear wing on view.

The Chevrolet DeKon Monza #24 is an iconic racing car that competed in the IMSA Camel GT championship in 1977. The car was driven by driver Tom Frank during that period and achieved a strong 4th place during the IMSA 100 Miles at Laguna Seca in 1977.

DeKon Engineering (founded by Lee Dykstra and Horst Kwech) built a small number of these tube frame samples (about 11 to 14 pieces) on behalf of General Motors in the 1970s. With success, as the DeKon Monzas won the IMSA titles in 1976, 1977 and 1978.

Weight: Only 1,089 kg, thanks to a lightweight tube frame and fiberglass body panels. Only the steel roof and windscreen were preserved from the original street car.
Performance: A top speed of more than 260 km/h and a perfect 50:50 weight distribution, which ensured a crazy road holding
