Track use is part of the story of this used Fly Porsche 908 #36 in white BP livery from Zeltweg 1969. It still runs strongly after plenty of laps. Scuffs, scratches and dirt are visible, so the car would benefit from cleaning.

The Porsche 908/02 Spyder with start number 36 (in the well-known white color scheme with green/yellow BP striping) refers to an iconic race car released by the well-known slot race manufacturer Fly Car Model (under reference number C13) as a model car at scale 1:32.
Although the packaging of the miniature car mentions that the car finished 4th during the race in Zeltweg in 1969, historically there is a small error in this from the manufacturer.
The historical reality behind the car
The Race: It is the inauguration race at the brand new Österreichring near Zeltweg on July 27, 1969. This was a shorter, not for the championship counting race to open the circuit.
The Driver: The legendary American Formula 1 and sports car driver Masten Gregory drove this specific car.
The Result: Although the car was very fast, it was actually disqualified during this opening race. The car was struggling and Gregory was pushed over the line by his fellow driver Richard Broström.
Where does the "4th place" come from?
The confusion of model car manufacturer Fly is due to the race that took place two weeks later on the same circuit: the official 1000 kilometers of Zeltweg on August 10, 1969.
During that World Cup race, Masten Gregory and Richard Broström formed a team in a similar Porsche 908/02. They started from the 7th place and finished there handsomely as 4th overall. However, during that race the car did not drive with start number 36 (which was Gregory's number during the opening race), but with start number 11. Fly accidentally combined these two events and start numbers on their presentation box at the time.
