The Carrera Digital 124 Chevrolet Corvette Grand Sport is a detailed slotcar (scale 1:24) based on the iconic American race car that participated in the 12 hours of Sebring in 1964. Although the term "Evo" (Evolution) typically refers to Carrera's analog 1:32 line, these particular 1:24 Corvette Grand Sport models have been released within the Digital 124 series. However, they are compatible with analog Carrera Evolution jobs (if equipped with a suitable transformer).

Carrera has produced two prominent digital versions of this Sebring 1964 racer:
Available Versions

Start number 4 (Art.nr. 23712): This model is based on the car that was driven during the 12 hours of Sebring in 1964 by racing legends Jim Hall and Roger Penske. The car drove in the top for hours, but finally finished 18th after a long pit stop through a broken drive shaft.

Start number 2 - Mecom Racing Team (Art.nr. 23748): This model replicates the legendary chassis #003. This car was driven by A.J. during the 1964 Sebring race. Foyt and John Cannon.

Main Features

Digital and Analog: The cars are individually codeable and digitally controlled, but have a switch that allows them to drive directly on traditional analogue tracks.

Improved Performance (Rev. 2): The later variant (start number 2) is equipped with a renewed control arm (Rev. 2 swingarm). This results in a significantly larger steering rash of the guide peel, which greatly improves the road holding and cornering speed (especially on magnetless wooden strips).

Realistic Details: Equipped with functioning front, rear and brake lights, a natural interior and a detailed driver figure.
