The Scalextric Digital Chip DPR C8516 is an F1 EasyFit Digital Plug used to convert Digital Plug Ready (DPR) single-seater, open-wheeled Scalextric cars to operate on a Scalextric Digital layout. This allows up to six cars to race on a single lane with lane-changing and overtaking capabilities. Product Details & Features The C8516 chip offers a simple "plug and play" solution for converting specific cars without needing soldering or extensive modeling skills. Compatibility: Specifically designed for F1 style, single-seater, open-wheeled Digital Plug Ready (DPR) cars. Installation: The conversion takes under a minute using a small screwdriver to swap out the blanking plate for the digital plug. Functionality: Enables features of the Scalextric Digital system, such as racing multiple cars on one lane, lane switching for overtaking and blocking. Reusability: Each chip can be transferred easily from one F1 DPR car to another. Scale: Designed for 1:32 scale slot cars.
